Title: Empowering Women: Menleleh Incorporated's 40-Month Project on Land Rights and GBV Support in Bong County

With funding from the Swedish Embassy (Liberia) through ForumCiv Liberia, Menleleh Incorporated is implementing a project titled "Women's Land Rights and Access to Gender Based Violence Support Services". The 40-month project is being implemented across 12 communities in 5 districts of Bong County, Liberia. The communities are Lelekpayea, Kolli-ta Wolah, Palala, Zebay, Zoweinta, Taylor Town, SKT, Sinyea, Foloblai, Samay, Gbenequelleh and Botota.The Women's Land Rights and Access to GBV Support Services project seeks to increase public education and awareness on GBV prevention, referral pathway and women's land rights as well as to facilitate access to support services for GBV survivors and women with land rights issues. The project began on July 1, 2023 and is expected to end on August 31, 2025.Under the project, MI will support 36 women in gaining ownership to land and will facilitate access to GBV case management support for 200 services. We will also partner with 12 Community Based Organizations (CBOs).
